無料イベントの「ホノルル・アート・スクール」

無料(free)っという言葉に弱い
新妻です。

今回も、freeイベントに出かけて来ました。
ホノルル 美術館のほぼ向かい側にある「ホノルル・アート・スクール」です。
今年の3月から、毎月第一日曜日にイベントが新しく始まりました。
ここも毎回テーマに沿ったクラフトやイベントを提供してくれます。

この日は、ローラーやタイヤの切れ端を使ったペインティング。

コーヒーフィルターと野菜の水切りを使ったクラフトに、モビール制作。
会場はそれほど広くはありませんが、
まだ始まったばかりのイベントとあって、人もそんなに多くありません。

そして、新妻の心をわし掴みにしたのはこちら。

なんと、ランチまで無料♪
美味しくてボリュームもあって、言うことなしです(笑)
写真が悪くてすみません。。。
この他にサラダやレモネードなどもありました。

入る時に、子供が通っている学校のインフォメーションなどを書きますが、
観光で来ていると言っても大丈夫だと思います。

普段、あまり訪れる事のない場所ですが、
裏庭も綺麗に整備されていて気持ちのいい場所です。
駐車場はすぐ隣にあり、3ドルで4時間まで停められるようです。
(料金やルールなど変更されることもあるので、車を停める前に各自の責任で確認してくださいね)

シャイな娘の為にも、英語に触れさせることや、
人との関わりも出来るので
こうしたイベントは上手く利用していけたらと思ってます。
